A STORY WITH A PURPOSE

Start with the viewer.
Give them a reason.

A short video works best when it has one clear job: introduce a product, explain a service, show a process or help someone understand the experience you offer. We connect the creative idea with the question your customer needs answered.

Your audience may be local residents, visitors planning a trip or people comparing businesses in a specific service area. The brief identifies who you want to reach, what they need to see and the next step they can take.

A launch, an event or a custom campaign can need a different production scope from an ongoing content plan. For a recurring format, explore the weekly video offer and its current filming, publishing and pricing terms.

AGREED DELIVERABLES

The idea.
The footage.
The finished edit.

A custom social video project can include the following, depending on the brief:

  • Creative planning: a concept, key message and practical shot list tied to the intended audience.
  • Filming or footage review: the agreed scenes and locations, or a review of existing footage for an editing project.
  • Editing: a focused opening, useful sequence, pacing and an ending that supports your next step.
  • Text and captions: readable on-screen information and accurate captions where included in the scope.
  • Delivery formats: agreed lengths, aspect ratios, cover-frame direction and files for the intended channels.

Before production, we confirm the number of videos, shoot requirements, versions, revision terms, approval steps and usage rights. Extra locations, specialist footage, additional edits, posting and paid advertising require an agreed scope. A custom video brief does not automatically include account management.

PREPARE THE SHOOT

Real details.
A workable plan.

Choose the product, service or moment the video needs to show. Prepare the people, space and materials that make the story possible: the finished dish, a clean work area, a demonstration or a team member ready to explain a useful detail.

  • Identify the location, access window and any business activity that must continue during filming.
  • Confirm who will appear, who can approve the content and which permissions are needed.
  • Share your logo, brand preferences, accurate offer details and any important wording.
  • For existing footage, share sample files, available formats and the rights you have to use them.

For an outdoor shoot in Las Vegas or Henderson, discuss light, noise, heat and the conditions that could affect the planned scenes. We review practical requirements before agreeing on a production schedule.

Read the social video shoot planning guide for a fuller preparation checklist.

HOW THE PROJECT MOVES

A clear brief.
A considered edit.

1. Agree on the story

Share the audience, offer, intended channels and the action you want viewers to take. We define the deliverables, production needs and responsibilities in the scope.

2. Prepare and capture

Confirm the shot list, people, location access and materials. Filming follows the agreed plan, or we review the source footage for an editing project.

3. Review the edit

Review the video against the brief, checking names, captions, offer details and the destination of any call to action. Feedback and revisions follow the agreed approval process.

4. Deliver for the intended use

Provide the agreed files and formats. Publishing responsibilities and any paid campaign use are confirmed separately. If the video points to a service page, that page should explain the offer and support the inquiry; website design support can be scoped when needed.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Before your
video project.

Can you edit footage we already have?

Yes, existing-footage editing can be scoped after reviewing sample files, image and sound quality, available shots and usage rights. We identify whether additional footage is needed before confirming the deliverables.

Do I need to appear on camera?

That depends on the story. Some ideas focus on a product, space or process; others benefit from a person explaining the service. We choose an approach during planning rather than assuming every project needs a presenter.

Does a custom video project include publishing?

Publishing, account access, community replies and paid advertising are defined in the scope. The recurring weekly video offer has its own publishing terms; review that page if you want an ongoing plan.

How are the budget and production schedule set?

Locations, filming needs, footage readiness, video count, versions and approvals affect the estimate. We agree on price, schedule, revision terms and usage before work begins. Share any event or launch date with your brief.

What should I send first?
